BIM Logistics Consultant
What's the role?
Are you driven by providing great solutions to construction industry? Do you know how to connect building design phase to a lean construction workflow? And do you like to drive our excellence as integrated project partner regarding a BIM driven supply chain? Then we are happy if you consider joining our team at the BIM Competence Center!
Who is Hilti?
Although you probably know Hilti from strong presence in the construction industry in 120 countries with more than 30,000 people worldwide, you may hear first time about the Hilti BIM Competence Center. We are a multi-national team of project managers, lead engineers and modelers to deliver professional BIM project services to our clients internationally. We utilize the BIM methodology to act as an integrated project partner enabling end-2-end workflow productivity for our clients along our renowned leadership in MEP support systems, passive Fire-Protection and Fastening Solutions. The team is located close to Rotterdam. Why here: The Netherlands has an advanced BIM market, a strong network of collaboration partners and an attractive international environment to attract diverse talents around the world. So, it’s our ideal base for a top-notch global BIM Competence Center.
What does the role involve?
BIM driven end-2-end workflow productivity is enabled by early integrative design which our team performs. Yet, the leverage of detailed design happens throughout supply chain, construction, and building operations. We therefore act as an integrated partner to our clients to link design optimization with prefabrication and advanced logistics such as J-I-T location delivery or BIM4D scheduling to make a true difference to their project workflow productivity. Consequently, we learn from every BIM project how to further optimize processes and systems to enable a lean, value adding supply chain. This role takes these learnings and acts as a strong interface to our logistic teams worldwide. It defines implications from BIM to Supply and vice versa translates Supply Chain needs towards our BIM design process and foster change processes accordingly. In a nutshell: This role contributes strongly to our footprint as leading integrated project partner by connecting our BIM design capabilities to our value-adding supply chain.
What do we offer?
Hilti will put trust in you, offering you an opportunity and a setting to grow and develop personally. Being embedded in a team of BIM domain experts and global supply chain professionals, you can foster your interest in BIM and complex construction logistics. In return we expect from you strong commitment, the right cultural fit, embracing change and the drive to move our business forward.
Why should you apply?
You will connect to prestigious projects and act as interface for BIM driven supply chain integration needs towards multiple internal stakeholders in logistics and headquarters. You will do this together with a highly diverse and experienced team. Hilti is set to become a true construction workflow productivity partner and you can be part of this transformation. And the Netherlands is a great place to work and live!
